General
Hacienda Yaxcopoil is part of the Hacienda Route south of Merida and
is also on the Puuc Route, Convent Route and in the middle of the Mayan
World or Mundo Maya. This is an excellent location as a base for exploring
the Yucatan or for a casual visit during a longer road trip. The Hacienda
is located about 32 kilometers or 20 miles (30 minutes) south of Merida,
the capital of Yucatan State, on Federal Highway 261, at Kilometer 186.
If you are traveling from Mexico City to Merida by air, your flight will be approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. The distance by car is 1400 kilometers which takes about 18 hours.
From Merida
Use any major southbound street (Calle), such as Calle 42, Calle
50 or Avenida Itzaes, until you arrive at the Periferico, or beltway,
that surrounds Merida. Proceed to Highway 180 South to Campeche, near
the airport. This route is also called "Libramiento Uman"
because it avoids the pueblo of Uman. Continue about 13 Kilometers and
exit onto Highway 261 South to Uxmal and the Puuc Route. Follow the
signs to Uxmal on 261 for about 11 kilometers to arrive at Hacienda
Yaxcopoil.

Campeche
Travel North on Highway 180 towards Merida. About 13 kilometers from
Merida, take the exit on Highway 261 South to Uxmal and the Puuc Route.
Follow the signs to Uxmal on 261 for about 11 kilometers to arrive at
Hacienda Yaxcopoil.
From
Cancun
Travel west on Highway 180 towards Merida. At the Periferico, or beltway,
